ICE OUT OF MPLS

There are incredible actions I'm witnessing here in Minneapolis to combat the reign of terror ICE has spread across the nation. Minnesotans are here standing up for our vulnerable populations and raising awareness of the extreme acts of violence and injustices inflicted on our people.

Federal Agents have mobilized in the streets of Minneapolis. ICE is making arrests on the basis of racial profiling alone, mainly targeting Latino and Somali people. ICE is intimidating, assaulting, kidnapping, and locking away immigrants, citizens, bystanders, protesters, and observers. ICE is using excessive force, firearms, teargas, and their own bodies to immobilize and harm people. There is little to no regard for humanity in the ICE operation. Federal agents are preying on children and families going to school, stalking hospitals, and people’s workplaces; they use deceiving ruses and entrapment. In Minneapolis, an ICE agent shot and killed a woman named Renee Good in her car.

Minnesotans are saying no to the fascist regime. Many businesses have become centers for distributing supplies to families at risk, to protesters and observers, and to community members keeping a protective watch on the streets. Everyone has a role, a shift, a call to action. Neighbors are joining neighbors, organizing, and learning how to protect each other.

I'm using this platform to pledge to create pieces of art to raise money for this cause. 100% of profits will be donated.
